Sales Development Representative

Our top marketing agency is looking to fill several roles within our sales and marketing team. We are currently working with one of Canada’s largest telecom companies, TELUS Communications.



This position is designed to maximize sales and customer service through safe and effective planning, selling, ordering, and communication.  This role works directly with Team Leads and Marketing Managers to ensure a high level of sales and customer service is provided.  You will be the customer’s sole contact and are responsible for all accounts assigned within a designated territory.


Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) are responsible for identifying and creating new qualified sales opportunities in their region. The SDR manages the outbound and inbound lead activity in their territory, qualifying active buying interest and developing opportunity in prospect accounts. An implicit responsibility of the SDR is to conduct business dealings in a way that creates a superior prospect experience that will set the stage for effective sales follow-up, as well as future product sales.




Drive revenue growth within your designated region by maximizing opportunities both inbound and outbound.
To drive new sales: plan presentations, identify and act on selling opportunities, deliver effective sales presentations to clients, make effective use of sales data and write the sales order.
Take a consulting selling approach to building customer relationships as you help prospective buyers select products that best meet their needs.
Undergo full sales training, gaining product knowledge and sales.
Energy, enthusiasm and the ambition to flourish in a fast-paced sales culture. solutions experience.
Must have excellent listening skills and the ability to work independently and with a team.




Customer service experience
Some college is an asset
Ability to successfully pass a Criminal Background Check
Basic Computer programs including Microsoft Office a plus (Word, Excel, etc.).
Communicate effectively and behave in a customer focused fashion
Ability to work well both individually and within a team setting
