Business to Business Account Manager

The Acquisition Group has been working side by side with TELUS for the past 9 years and is now looking to hire a Business to Business Account Manager to join our PureFibre Business Team for client, TELUS Communications in our Kamloops, BC office!

All agents will have the opportunity to demonstrate their leadership skills and will be trained in conducting interviews, training fellow sales reps, running workshops, etc.

 

Responsibilities:

-The Buesiness to Business Account Manager will frequently contact new and existing businesses to market TELUS PureFibre products and services

-Generate new TELUS PureFibre sales leads with targeted businesses through various prospecting activities, including cold calling, canvassing, customer referrals, and partner relationships.
-Effectively manage a territory with a high activity and comprehensive business plan.
-Achieve and exceed assigned TELUS PureFibre sales and business quality objectives.
-Territory development to include development of local business partnerships and organizational affiliations and local enhancement and positioning of the TELUS brand.
-Maintaining quality sales records and preparation of sales and activity reports as required.
-Desire and ability to proactively intercept, engage, interact, and influence buying decisions on the TELUS PureFibre products with the business consumer, in a positive manner.
-Provide technical support / field inquiries.

- Meet business owners in person and advise them of opportunities, market information, and new products to help strengthen and grow their business

-Maintain and increase TELUS’ revenue streams with current key accounts in a specific territory, to include: face-to-face visits, problem solving and administrative follow-up

- Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism when representing our client, TELUS Communications and dealing with business owners.

 

Requirements:

-1-3 years of recent related experience (sales, business, customer service)

-Must live in Kamloops or be able to relocate  (some relocation costs covered)
-Excellent time management, organization and phone skills.
-Must be 18 years of age or older to pass a Criminal Background Check
-Vehicle and valid driver’s license required

-Be able to start ASAP


This is a Full Time position, Monday to Friday, with hours ranging from 8am to 6pm.
