Sales Associate

We are looking for a pleasant and competitive Sales Associates that thrives in attracting new customers for TELUS Communications. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of product/services presentations, generating interest and qualifying sales prospects.


Responsibilities

  • Create a positive image of TELUS Communications through friendly and charismatic communication
  • Expand visibility of the TELUS Communications brand and services through direct, face to face communication with customers
  • Identify customer interest in TELUS Home Services and understand customer needs and requirements
  • Present TELUS Home services and provide information on promoted services using the iPad (iPad and training will be provided) through direct to consumer approach
  • Use iPad to log customer transactions and trace leads
  • Distribute TELUS Communications brochures with services and promotions to obtain new sales opportunities
  • Set up booths or promotional stands at specialty TELUS Communications promotional events
  • Attend daily team meetings, training and workshops

 

Qualification

  • Ability to understand customer needs and handle different types of personalities
  • Strong listening, communication, presentation and social skills
  • Efficient and effective organization skills and time management
  • Must be over the age of 18 years
  • Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check
  • Full Time Hours available (Mon-Fri)
